How to watch Utah vs. Penn State NIT finals Championship
- Date: Thursday, March 29
- Time: 7 p.m. ET
- Channel: ESPN2
- Stream: WatchESPN
- Location: Madison Square Garden – New York City
Although the NIT championship certainly doesn’t have the appeal of the tournament, this one has certainly been upset-laden. The Penn State beat the No. 1 and No. 2 seeds in its region to advance to play Mississippi State — which did the same. It has beaten a few good teams this year, so you won’t see Nittany Lion fans surprised by the appearance.
It opened as a three-point favorite and is now laying four. The over-under, or the total points Vegas believes will be scored, opened at 135 but has dipped to 134.5.
On the other hand, Utah can cover the spread, or win outright, by limiting Penn State’s second-chance points. They are one of the most horrible rebounding teams in the state & must keep 6-foot-8 forward Lamar Stevens off the boards.
